New Tata Harrier EV Offers 627 km Range, ADAS, and Dual Screens…

Tata Motors had launched the all-new Harrier EV 2025, a premium electric SUV that marries the original Harrier’s harsh stance with futuristic design elements specific to electric cars.

The exterior has a closed-off grille, connected LED DRLs, and 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels. There are connected LED tail lamps at the rear to keep the bold presence of the SUV alive. For those wishing to stand apart, a special Stealth Edition is also offered with matte black finish.

Performance Powerhouse with Great Range

Based on the Tata Gen 2 EV architecture, the Harrier EV carries dual electric motors with up to 390 bhp and 504 Nm of torque, which enables the SUV to dash from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds using Boost Mode. Two options of LFP battery packs—65 kWh and 75 kWh—give a claimed range of 627 km on a single charge (MIDC). In addition, the AWD variant provides traction and best handling across terrains.

Tech-laden Luxurious Interior

Inside, the Harrier EV is dual-tone in grey and white, with leatherette seats and a panoramic sunroof. There stands a 14.5-inch infotainment screen on the dashboard, along with a 12.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. It also boasts on a 540-degree camera system, summon mode, OTA updates, and Tata’s connected car platform called iRA, giving a big boost to the driving experience.

Safe and Driver-Assisted

Safety comes first for the Harrier EV, which offers Level 2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition. The SUV is also packed with seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot detection, and a tire pressure monitoring system, keeping occupants well-protected.

Price and Availability

The base variant of the Tata Harrier EV demands a starting price of ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end model costing up to ₹30 lakh.
